Apple, Peach and Avo Purée

Avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped

½ tsp

Method:

Step 1:

Add 1 – 2 cm of water to a small pot and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce to a simmer and place the apple and peach into a steamer basket (silicone or metal). Steam for 3–5 minutes, or until soft and tender.

Step 2:

Transfer the fruit to a bowl and mash together with ripe avocado using a fork for a soft, textured mash. For a smoother consistency, blend until silky.

Step 3:

Finish by stirring in a few drops of lemon juice to enhance flavour and help maintain freshness.

Ready Stage: 4 - 6 months
