Red Currant Jam

Ingredients:

The Jam

3 Cups

FRÜT frozen Red Currant

2 ¼ cups

sugar

¼ cup

water

Main ingredient:

Method:

Step 1:

Place red current and water in a large pot and gently crush the currents with a potato masher.

Step 2:

Add the sugar and cook the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring constantly to dissolve the sugar.

Step 3:

Once the sugar has dissolved, raise the heat to high and boil, stirring often, until the jam thickens to a gel-like texture


Remove from heat and skim off the foam on the surface.

Step 4:

Store jam in a glass jar and use within 3 months.
