Früt frozen peaches

1/2 cup

granulated sugar

1 tsp

ground cinnamon

1 tbsp

lemon juice

all-purpose flour

1/4 cup

granulated sugar

1 tsp

baking powder

1/4 tsp

salt

1/2 cup

unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes

1/4 cup

milk

Method:

Step 1:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish or similar size.

Step 2:

Prepare the peaches: In a large bowl, toss the frozen peaches with the granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and lemon juice until well coated. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to macerate and release some juice.

Step 3:

Spread the peach mixture: Transfer the peach mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Step 4:

Make the cobbler topping: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the cold cubed butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in the milk until just combined.

Step 5:

Top the peaches: Evenly sprinkle the cobbler topping over the peach mixture in the baking dish.

Bake the cobbler: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling around the edges.

Step 6:

Serve warm: Remove the cobbler from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for extra deliciousness!
