
Ingredients:
- For the batter:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsps baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup milk
- 3 cups FRÜT frozen peaches
- For the topping:
- 1 ½ cups water
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- Cream/ice cream to serve
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200°C
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt & cinnamon
- Stir in milk until just combined (careful not to overmix!) and fold in peaches
- Butter baking dish and pour in mixture
- For the topping, in a large saucepan, combine water, sugars, butter & nutmeg, bring to boil and stir to let sugars dissolve
- Pour over peach batter
- Bake for about 40-50 mins (filling should be bubbling lightly); serve warm with cream or ice cream
